i had a thread with images of my damaged psu, which wasnt complaing at OCUK at all but more of a moan at DPD, and its gone, i assume deleted for whatever reason. and with no further comments from OCUK's webnote system it becomes pretty hard not to feel a bit miffed.

The question is, have you been reimbursed for the damage done to your psu mate?

unfortunatly i havnt heard a peep form OCUK since they sent me a webnote saying

Has there been any actual physical damage done to the power supply itself? have you tested it at all?

ive sent another webnote detailing the corraspondance so far and adding this image showing the damaged.

shouldnt be too bad getting it replaced my rma experience was quite good with damaged monitors (this 1 is AGAIN damaged but its dell who will deal with it even though I am quite sure it was badly shipped but being dells box design at fault - weight of the monitor is on a pedestal in the middle of the panel and the writing on the box and the handles mean its always going to be such a way up that causes issues)

Also I find it odd they want you to plug in and try to use a damaged psu, that would probably be silly! Call them up on monday though.

It's been deleted i noticed it had dissapered earlier was looking to see what people had wrote.

obviously they don't like the truth so hide it by deleting it

And as you can not have threads asking why ;) this one will also go the way of the bin.

If you have a problem with the shop or anyone connected to the shop I suggest you speak to them and not here about it...

he was talking about dpd not ocuk no problems with ocuk just their choice of courier. if ocuk valued there customers they would look into this dpd business as there has been so many complaints recently

hence why i'm going to collect my system when i order only an hour away.

P:S in before the lock

Anything that could possibly show the company in a bad light (and lose sales) will not stay on the forums. It may sound like it's not fair or understanding, but it's up to OcUK on the level of moderation they use. What would be nice would be to see all these threads of faulty products etc updated with how they were solved and sorted out by OcUK support. That would help the company sell things through peace of mind. Look at the threads about how good logitech support is and BFG etc.

Bingo bango, my point was exactly this.

Remember folks nobody likes an enforced holiday;)

Just to make it perfectly clear

in no way do i blame OCUK for the condition that my PSU arrived in, they packaged it and sent it out to DPD on the friday that i ordered it, it was DPD that then decided to hold it for a week and refuse to answer the phone until the after i contacted OCUK and they chased the DPD guys up, not surprisingly i recieved my PSU the next day, but it was in an unusable condition.
This is in no way OCUK's fault.

any complaints or misgiveing about OCUK are being dealt with via thier webnote system.

They don't tend to do that on the public section of the forums. There is a private forum below where you can post that.

Personally I'd rather see the cases resolved. There's a lot of people out there who don't seem to trust OcUK, just deleting the threads doesn't help that, but I understand why it's done.

I dont think its possible to find a perfect courier. Also, the problems tend to be at the local level, they seem decent to me - I've had no issues, but its just where I live.

Apart from broken monitors, but personally I blame the rubbish packaging that encourages it to be a way up which puts the weight on the panel! grrrr

True it's been putting me off after seeing all the complaints and how they brush them under the carpet it's not very good for customers who have never ordered from them before.
