I've been thinking about going to study in France for a while now. I love french and i'll be fluent by the time i'll be leaving. It will be an undergraduate degree called a "licence".

Has anyone gone to uni in a foreign country before, and what was it like?

Also interested to know this. I'm hopefully doing a course in Education with French, and even though there is a 4 week excursion over there, it would be nice to spend a year actually living there.

I suppose the best thing to do would be to contact both your university and a prospective French one? How are fees and everything handled (for studying there), because I believe its more expensive, as it is for French students who come over here.

I have studied in France before at uni.

What will you study, where will you study and what are your current abilities linguistically? Also when will you go?

Culture? Wouldn't you like to get away for a while to some where different?
Granted, but given the education system UK is one of the best in the world, I wouldn't study abroad to embrace the culture.

I live in Seoul for months to experience the culture, during summer break.

do a uk course that has a year out in another country. i know my uni offers loads of these through links with the other unis

i assume going to uni abroad costs a fortune. just like it costs foreigners a fortune to study here

erasmus exchange best time of my life, if you have the oportunity take it, you'll never regret it.
beach party clubs was my year, if i could do it again i would, plus there is no need to pass anything.

Got a friend in Frankfurt working for Nintendo as part of his degree, loves it !
