So, I ordered a new Fridge before Christmas, only to have it delayed by the snow last week.

Turns upto day and the 1st thing the delivery guys say is "can't do it, Health & Safety"

Ok I do understand that access is a bit tricky. Our house is cut into the South Downs so it is a bit hilly. The house is built into a hill and there a few steps to get from road level into the house.

Then they try to attach their sucker lifting things to the side, only to find it has a stippled finish and they keep falling off.

So as things get a bit bleaker, we all decide to take the doors off and haul it in, the old fashioned pre Health & Safety days. Bit of a struggle but it went in.

Good thing too, we have spent the last 2 weeks re-building the kitchen to fit this exact fridge.

Props to the delivery guys who did it, 'he who dares wins'.

Cool story eh.

Is it any good? Seems to be for the price. Bagged it for £529 - now back to £700

Tis fab (its technically my parents, i'm just living here at the moment) the only thing I would say to keep an eye on is that the ice thing doesn't get blocked at the top, it only happens like twice a year but if the ice isn't coming out and its making the noise it does when it should, take the box the ice gets made in out, and clear it out. That's usually whats causing it.

Oh and you end up talking to it cos of the noise it makes if you leave the door open too long :D

It may be my age and what with kids and all, but when I saw that photo, all I could think about was how many drawings/paintings/school notices you could fit on that.
