The majority of tattoos that people get around where I live are either those Chinese type fonts or some ****ty tribal efforts. I love the people who get a dodgy tattoo that cost all of £20 and then they say "Oh yeah, my tattoo says "Peace" in Chinese". Really? Would you take the tattooist's word for that? Looking at him he could hardly write in English let alone tell you what some apparently Chinese font says.
The ones that I really, really hate though are those stupid little teen girls that want a tattoo just because everyone else has one. Thus resulting in a crappy generic tribal tattoo at the bottom of their back which they picked out of the catalogue in the shop. If you're going to get a tattoo, do it properly, think about it first, think about where you want it, think about if you will be decreasing your chances of getting a job based on the word "****" tattooed on your forehead, or some crappy oriental wording running the length of your arms. Also, don't look for the absolute cheapest tattoo studio that will have some dodgy weed smoker giving you a tattoo for £15, do it properly, ****ing cheapskates.
I've no problem with tattoos in general, they can be very, very nice, but sadly, the majority of people with tattoos around here are doing it to be all different and alternative which is an immediate fail when everyone else is doing it for exactly the same reason. Think about when you're middle aged, your skin has stretched and your tattoo now looks more like a runny blob of **** than it did in the first place.
