need the length of the 5770 my sata ports sit 8.5 inches away from the pci-e back plate i asked this before but can't find the thread to see any replies.

ninja edit never stick a tape measure inside a running case common sense but don't wanna be blamed for any accidents

thats good i am getting vapour x cause it lookes like the back end of the card has some gaps i could probably trace sata lead through do you have the egg typ cooler

thanks for the info well order placed couldn't stand using that 2600xt any longer if anything at least the 5770 will get me buy for a while heck i might even try x fire when i get me new amd system. ordered a aim bug mouse mat (hope they are ok).

should i do a full strip of drivers and CCC and reinstall everything from fresh i don't mean the OS just anything Ati related.

shall i use windows install cleaner or just add remove programs?

how well do the vapour x's oc?

I always just install over the top of previous drivers, assuming Ati, have never used any cleaners. Consensus seems to be cleaners take out stuff they shouldn't which cause more problems and end up with a re-install of windows. Havn't OC my cards yet so I don't know what they will go to.

Aside from the length of the card also consider that the power plugs into the back of the card so will take up another ~12mm.
