Cancer-stricken Dennis Hopper files for divorce from his deathbed

Seems foolish to go to all that hassle to stop his wife getting a good inheritance, it's not like he has any use for it after he's dead anyway.

Rubbish, as his kids / direct family etc. will have an interest and he's obviously keen to ensure that they get the maximum possible from it. Her lawyers will be goig nuts trying to prove he's lost it etc but the fact is that the pre-nup sounds like it was done properly.

Oh noes

Miss Duffy is understood to be furious after discovering that her inheritance would be exactly what she had agreed to under the couple's prenuptial agreement

She's still young, she can go fishing again for cash.

What about all the other places his money can go to? He may not be able to use it after he is dead but he may want more of it to go to his children.

Rubbish. It's more about his last will of where he wants the money to go to. He clearly wants it to go to other family/friends and that is his absolute right.

Sad news. Don't know about his personal life but:

Hopper also hopes the move will force Miss Duffy to move from the Venice Beach compound where he and two of his grown-up children and their families live.
Ouch.
