Sure, play dont take your money untill it ships. And that isnt untill March.
what are snipers suposed to do apart from camp? they are suposed to be stealthy hiding in long grass , roof tops etc.
a sniper standing in full view of everyone shouting heh look this is where i am is no good and you cant expect them to go charging around like an assault class.
snipers were always balanced even in the original battlefield game, it took skill to get one shot kills.
the battlefield games were never suposed to be quake/counterstrike style rushes they were suposed to be like real wars

The issue with i have with snipers is spawned mainly from small maps and limited scopes,
I have just come out of a game of MW2 and there was a sniper camping a doorway as it was a choke point in HQ, all he did was return to the site prone and camp.
This requires no skill and and most maps are too small to allow snipers to be used properly
Now if we are talking massive maps and snipers being so far away that machine gunners cant get them, but wind and distance effect the shot then now we are talking proper sinpers. Also proper scopes that give you a variable and not just 4x zoom!

no were the average ocuk member can try to troll without at first learning the skill
the great thing in this game is if your in a nice sniping spot in a building with claymore behind your protecting your rear,then it dont matter about coming form the rear only as now you can just blow the sniper out of his nice postion and half the building with him!If you have the right weapons

Are there any claymores in this? Ive watched tons of gameplay vids but yet to se anyone deploying a claymore anywhere.
Is there any way to reserve a name? I remember back when BF1942 came out I managed to secure my name, but unfortunately since then I've noticed lots of other people using my nick, so I would prefer to register it as soon as possible before someone else tries to take it.
Does anyone else think that camping is not a big issue in the Battlefield series?
I can understand it in games like Counter Strike as it's holding everyone up before a new round can start but that doesn't exist in Battlefield. In my opinion, being a sniper is all about camping and being sneaky to get about undetected.

Despite someone in this thread saying that Play took the money out of their brothers account for their preorder, it's not true.
I have preorders with Play and Game (with the intention of cancelling play at end of beta) and I haven't paid anything yet.

not sure,even if they do not have claymores dont matter, as any buildings being camped in can be blown away along with the sniper.
