I will probably look out for a Q6600 in the future.
Not really to be honest. I'd save the cash and make a more substantial jump personally.
Go with an intel chipset, they're always rock solid, I prefer them to nvidia..
Also, why only 2gb? 4gb is way better, especially for W7
how in the hell did you get a 3800+ stable at 2.8ghz i struggled with 2.5 must have a mighty good chip there
+1, unless your current PC is close to death i'd carry on saving.
I can probably do the upgrade for free after selling my current stuff. Its currently a rock solid system i have but a free upgrade is a free upgrade
Why are 939 prices high?
280 x 10 multi. 1T. Not sure on the volage, ill have a look tonight and post back on here
edit - What cpu upgrade options does the XFX 650i Ultra have? Is the Q6600 the best processor to go for in future?
Or a E6750? Is Q9650 socket 775?
Which begs the question - Why use 939 stuff in a home theatre? Why not new(er) stuff thats not expensive
Motherboard was/is one of the best 939 boards available and memory is Gskill HZ, which i think is pretty decent. Yay
good thing 939 prices are high at the moment
what voltage u running and multi/cpu ldt
