..useful engine stuff

Does the E90 330i have similar issues to the E46 as you've mentioned? Looking at an early one, probably 2005-2006. I believe this is the 258 bhp version?

(Sorry for thread hijack!)

The early versions of the E90 have an N52B30. This is a newer design of engine - but its not my area of specialist knowledge I'm afraid.

Found 2 private ones 90 miles away.

Both 2002, 31k & 55k miles for £8.6k and £8.8k seem to have plenty of extras.

Or, really pushing my budget a Midlands dealer (not BMW) has a 2003 68k miles for £10k but it has everything, only missing satnav I think which I'm not bothered about.

Nope, its quick but it isnt easy. It takes 5 minutes but you'll cut your hands to death in the process :p

Hmm one did come out a bit sore lol :p

Its a horrible dash to be digging in and around in anyway with all the stupid supports and brackets.. bloody germans!

Clubsport (later M Clubsport though beyond the name there is no difference) was a special edition version of the 330Ci Sport Coupe. It came with reduced sound deadening under the bonnet, a 'unique' carbonish interior trim thingy, 'M Clubsport' branded sills, a bigger rear spoiler, 18 inch polished split rims and the opportunity to have Estoril Blue as a colour.

It is otherwise a standard 330Ci Sport.

Thanks, I wouldn't be too bothered about a clubsport then.

The one I drove yesterday was a 6 speed manual, most of them seem to be 5 speed, were 6 speed introduced later or something?

Well it looks like I found one.

It was well under budget too.

2001 51 plate BMW 330 CI in black with black leather with 86k miles for £5k.

Should be getting it on Sunday.

Not very good as stole from the ad.

Same wheels as yours mrk?

I would have liked xenon lights and but at this price it seemed like a good idea.

Also the current owners have had it 5 years.

Yeah, they must have upgraded to those wheels at some point as those as the Sport wheels with wide rears - are the seats Sports seats or just the normal ones?

Sport seats are the most comfortable with the adjustable knee supports.
