What Azza said, but don't get your hopes up. I've not seen a single site with an ETA for Asus cards... well, 1 site does but they keep changing and pushing dates back so they can't exactly be trusted

why are people so bothered about who makes it? its basiclly the same card any ways! LOL!

The asus cards can clock higher than any other make due to the voltage tweak and bios. Also, asus allow you to oc and still be within your warrenty. Also, 3 years warrenty where as the other companys e.g xfx, sapphire only 2 years.

OK I just got mine through. Happy so far but a quick question guys.

The static bag was not sealed? (should it have been)?

Also, noticed on a few review sites that the ASUS version comes with a nifty leather type wallet like here: http://img.neoseeker.com/v_image.php?articleid=2400&image=41

I have everything in the picture except that, maybe its just for the American market?

Got mine from err.. a kinda SlowdownTech.

Tried everywhere

Only Asus cards i can find in stock are the 5970's.

one place has had them in stock for over a week now and at reasonable price (ish).

Edit: just found another place with them in today.

I got an Asus 5850 last week and box was not sealed and anti-static bag only sealed with cellotape - apparently this is normal for Asus...
