I much prefer Spotify as its essentially the same layout as iTunes etc but streamed, obviously.
You can make playlists quite easily, which save so you dont need to make them all the time and browsing music is simple. You can search by year, genre, artist, album, record label etc. and its much easier to find music and similar artists then youtube.
Spotify is built around the music and finding music you like in a simple way. Its really quite good and just feels better to play music than Youtube, its free you may as well get it just to try (if that link works).
Unless you're watching an official Youtube channel, chances are it will have been capped and uploaded by an inexperienced random user, usually low quality, bad aspect ratio, etc..
If you are a premium member you can also create 'offline playlists' where songs in your playlist are downloaded to your PC so you can listen to them while offline.
Spotify is a fantastic program - I don't listen to enough music, else I would get premium.
