Spotify - No invite needed

I think they may have changed it sometime yesterday, went to get my housemate signed up and the link didn't work but a friend of mine signed up earlier in the day!
If anyone has a spare invite that would be awesome

No, it used to let anyone register through the link, but now they've changed it.
I've been using Spotify for about six months, and I'm quite impressed, good sound quality and exceptionally quick playback/streaming.
Only downside is the range of music available, there are some artists that are not available on Spotify yet, whereas other streaming music providers i.e. Grooveshark, do have them.
But aside from that, definitely part of my music armoury.
P.S. Are invites available to premium members only?
