The Bioshock (1) giveaway thread

I wouldn't mind trying this out if anybody has one lying around :p
Friends have said this game is great on the 360 but i have never played it.

If anybody does buy BS2 and have a copy of BS1 going spare i'd promise to treat it well if you let me get it a home ;)

Got a reply to my post on the steam forums :)

'This is going to be fixed later tonight so that you can gift directly to your own email address. It requires brief downtime to update some servers, or we'd do it sooner.'
 
While I'm sure lots of people do actually want it, those who actually did, why didnt you buy it on steam for £3 or whatever it was? Came up twice I think!

I tried to get it from D2D when they had it on offer at around the same time. Had trouble getting through the checkout. Then it completed the transaction at my end but not theirs so i didn't get a code.
Thought it'd get sorted so didn't buy it from Steam.
D2D then refund me the money and after it goes back up in price so i didn't have a copy. :eek:

And this leaves my in this situation. Tempted by the videos of the 2nd one but not tried the 1st one so i don't want to commit to spending £25 on a game franchise i have never tried.

I think its a case of not really being that interested in getting it, but with the sheer number of gift copies flying around thanks to the Bioshock 2 deal, why not try getting it for a free.
 
I have 2 copies to give away but wont be home until around 6pm this evening.

The first 2 people to e-mail me their steam ID's with the magic word will be gifted a very special copy of Bioshock 1 each, when I get home
 
This is one of the games I've been meaning to give a go for a long while... since release actually! Just haven't got around to picking up a copy yet. So, if anyone else has a free copy, I'd be grateful if you could send it my way! My steamid is B1aze.
