There was a clamp on my car. It seems to have fallen off , it's not damaged at all! I've called the bloke that owns it and asked if he wanted it back. He got ratty and said he's calling the police.

What should I do with it? I said to him that I will drop it off at the Police station, are they going to be ok with that, what do I say?

I just don't want to be done for stealing it!

Honest answers only!

IT IS NOT DAMAGED!

You'd have thought that they'd have secured it better before walking off, any bugger could have knicked it, lucky for them such an upstanding citizen found it and is making the effort to return it to them ;)

Find out the clampers address and fit it to his car at night. Use a new lock ;)

Handed it in, even got a receipt. It's go the wrong name on and no address but hay oh, I don't want it back anyway. I even got the lady to write on it "lock intact".

:D

I would have just chucked it over the nearest hedge. But then again, I live in Scotland where wheel clamping is illegal ( on private land ).
