Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Intel X58 onboard sound question

Does anyone here use the onboard sound for this mobo?

If so is the sound quality any good? Any issues with teamspeak/Ventrillo?

Can't shed any light on any teamspeak/Ventrillo issues because I do not use them.

I do however use the onboard sound on the UD5 (outputting to Razer Mako 2.1 speakers) and, despite not being an extreme audiophile, it sounds perfectly good to me. No complaints here.

I've used it for Vent, not too bad. I've also used it on the UD7 to test it out, although I do have a dedicated sound card, and thats good too.

I use it through a £60 pair of creatives, sometimes direct to headphones. No issues that I've noticed, no crackling or hissing anyway. Not that I'd notice distortion mind, so really just a +1 for I think it's fine.

I have it going to my Z5500's through digital coax and it sounds good
