Hey I'm looking to spend around about that much on my new system, I have chosen all the components would just like a few suggestions about things I could change before I do buy it :P, I'm not gunna buy them all at once just over a short period of time so maybe the prices would decrease within that time, anyway here is the list.

Eventually I will be overclocking the CPU and various other components, so does anyone think I need a higher wattage PSU, if so what should I go with? If the prices go down on the 5870's I will probably buy 2 of them instead of 1 5970 but we will have to wait and see, also some people have been suggesting G-Skill Perfect Storm(?) 6GB I think, what do people think about that rather then the Corsair Dominator.

dont know how they compare to the WD blacks but I was led to believe the samsung F3 1TB drives are one of the fastest. Plus its 4 quid cheaper than the WD Black ;)

Alright thanks, but I think I'm gunna buy an SSD like when the prices go down because IMO at the moment they are to expensive.

You don't really need a massive one, so the ones available are still pretty cheap when considering the massive performance gain, your call though of course

It's your money but I'd want the best system, and changing the ram to something abit cheaper and getting an SSD is going to give you a lot better system! You'll see very little difference, if any, by using the more expensive ram! However, youll see a massive difference in load times etc.. with the SSD!

Do they really increase the speed THAT much? Because if they do I'll get one but what size?

I dont have one and I haven't used one but I've read a lot of reviews from people who have and they say that the performance is v.good! I just don't get the point of really expensive ram! It's a no brainer for me!

Alright thanks, what size SSD do you suggest, I think I'm gunna change the ram to OCZ Gold cause it is a lot cheaper and seems to be the same so I see where you are coming from :P

Nice rig. Only thig i suggest is going for 2 5870's you would get a lot more out of it than the 1 5970 and only for about £60 more. saves upgrades in the future also.

Yeah true, I might do this depending on if the prices go down within the next 6 months or something which I would hope and expect they will. ;p
