Well i just started steam, on the main store page on the right theres a link saying battlefield bad company 2 limited edition prepurchase now!, click that and you get the following

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition is now available for pre-purchase. Get early access to the beta and receive six in-game multiplayer items when you pre-purchase now!
 
Cant you pre-load Mass Effect & BC:2 on steam?

Useing the discount posted; its £62 with EA store for ME2 and BC:2 with beta and pre-load. But £75 wth steam with beta and not sure if i can pre-load?:confused:

Didnt have any problem with pre-loading DA:O DD version with ea download manager but only read after how many bad experiences people have had with it.:(

Well u must be right about admins kicking at the first sign and they must be v good at it and i thank them for it :) Never enough of a problem that i've been put off by it.

After reading about abit it seems the ME2 pre-load for those retailers that support it starts monday the 25th in Europe. So i guess il wait till monday to see if i should go steam or EA.

DO yoy think this game will give decent fps maxed out on a i7 920 and a Ati 5870? im only curious because the recomended requirements are quite high. i.e Having a Quadcore Cpu.

It better run like a dream on that sort of rig. I'm expecting total max settings and high fps rates on my i7 / GTX 295 rig.

LE is not limited at all, probably most people will have this version. I guess it means they can later release a version without unlocks and at a cheaper price to gradually capture all of the potential market.


Im pretty sure all the LE unlocks will be given to normal players eventually as this is what happened to bad company eventually, last summer I was using free codes they had given out for various reasons to people still playing


I think this one is going to be a game for the younger generation personally, very concentrated constantly getting shot in the back type arcade, mario brothers with guns type play.
If its a classic long term BF game it'll have some semblance of tactics or opportunity for coordination in a team to an advantage

I hope it has a double barrel shotgun like BC



I think quadcore is for single player not multi personally, AI uses cpu and bf2 multiplayer barely used a single core because it was all textures

I dont expect it to be any harder on a machine then Arma 2 and I think maybe less demanding as maps will be tiny in comparison arma uses AI in multiplayer and this wont

Really? Do you know where? I just started playing Bad Company 1 on PS3 today.
