That's it, he had some amazing shots from northern Ireland when he was posted there.

I would love to try and track more of his down, he didn't keep any himself though so I'd have to contact MoD I think.
 
That's a brilliant photo.
Here's one my wife took when we were in Vegas. Shame it was a very low res camera. Ok, nowhere near as stunning as the ones above, but I'm impressed you can see the round leaving the gun!

That is a very good picture, have you considered submitting it to any museums or archives and the like?

Well, I want to try and find more of his photos if I can, I've a few general ones from Germany around 20 years ago and a few group shots etc but not action ones.

I am sure he'd be more than happy to have his images submitted to a museum/archives but who would want them?

Try the imperial war museum maybe.

I'm sure there are archives that like to keep old pictures especially amateur taken ones of times like these.
