Logitech G35s: opinions, alternatives?

I am about to buy a pair of the G35s, but thought I'd check with you lot first.

What do you think of them? Any alternatives I should look into?

The headphones will be used for gaming and vent.

I wouldn't imagine anyone would recommend these over proper headphones.

If you have a decent soundcard; xifi gamer etc... I would get the Razer chrcharias (called somthing like tht )

Crackign headset, they are better than the g35's imo.

Think i read somewhere that they are not the most confortable headphones for long sessions.

Never really liked 'gaming headsets'. Why don't you try a decent headset, i.e Sennheiser 555's, goldring 150's etc. Then add a clip-on mic, zalman/elara seem to be popular, en voila.

Each to their own though, just another option for you to think over.

I was going to buy these http://www.psykoaudio.com/ but found they dont have voice morphing! I'm now getting the G35s so I can sound like a 'Space Squirrel'!!!

Of course they don't have voice morphing. They're analogue (including the mic)...
