Basically, I would like to use speed fan to control my 2 case fans that are connected to the system fan headers on the motherboard (which is a GA-790XTA-UD4) but the fan speeds don't seem to change when I change the percentage. What would I need to change in the bios to allow speedfan to work with the fans?

Thanks.

speed fan is hard to master i reccomend searching for a user config for your mobo look in speedfan and their should be something called get config find your mobo then go back to speedfan and input the corresponding number this will install the profile into speedfan which will allow it to run of your motherboard sensors correctly.

then it's just a case of setting target temperatures, min fan speed and max fan speed.

i only assign speed fan to control my core temp normally i set it to 35 degrees at 33% min 100%max but there is a lot you can do with it.
