I thought it was quite light-hearted. Murray was just joking about being asked personal questions.

Now the tournament is on a new level for him though. If Nadal gets through, expect a cracking match.

Fair comment :) I just hope it's not on at stupid o'clock. Hopefully, as both are European, they may have it first on.
 
Whats also interesting (maybe Im just being hopeful) is that Murray hasnt lost a set yet - where as Nadal has lost at least one in each match he has played so far

Good win for Murray today - does look as though Isner's serve is his only weapon but even so Murray dealt with it pretty well through the whole match

Managed to get some tickets to the Quarter Finals and really hoping I get to see either Federer, Nadal or Murray.
 
8am GMT Tuesday mate so you you will get to see that in the QF evening session! :)

What has been good for murray so far is that he has improved as every match has been played, he will be.feeling rather confident by this point.

Nadal had hardly set the world alight so far and is nowhere near as fit or as devastating as he has been over the past two years, Murray certainly has a great chance and I will predict a Murray win by 3-1 sets.

Also Murray could now face his US Open conquerer in Martin Cilic in the semis as he knocked out the thoroughly unimpressive Del Potro in 5!

It does look as though coming down to Aus early has done Murray the world of good this year don't ya think? his reasoning to not defend in Doha seems to be absolutely sound!
 
Sat up till 1:30am (Aus time) and watched the Roddick/Gonzalez game live. Nice to see Roddick come back from 2:1 down and win the match. Gonzalez looked a bit disinterested at the end which was a shame as he'd played so well upto the start of the 5th set.

Are you guys getting this in HD in the UK? Some of the slow motion camera work were getting over here in HD is stunning to watch.
 
I still cant see how Gonzales lost that last point in set 4,

he left a ball after it was shouted out, and then they over ruled the "out" and gave the point to Roddick (where I thought they should have played the point again)

I think he felt cheated after that (and I cant say I blame him), but there was only going to be one winner in a single set knockout - which it effectively was

would have preferred to actually see him go through rather than Roddick but anyhow....

The men's game is interesting but when most matches are 3 hours plus you can't really watch all that much.

The birds matches are awesome, there's a few fit ones around at the minute and a lot that are looking good, that Azarenko looks pretty good as does a few others, what with Henin back to really give Serena a run for her money its easily as exciting as the men's. The quality is easily just as good, its only the power that differs, McEnroe says Henin's backhand is the best backhand in tennis men or women.

Plus the women's game is capable of the odd surprise, we all know Federer is gona win the men's, if not Federer than Nadal, if not Nadal then maybe, one of either Murray or djokovic, the only guy capable of really causing an upset is Davydenko and we all hate him, he's a cheat.

Cilic did very well to beat Roddick. He's turning in to a pretty consistent player and it'll be a very tough game for the winner of Murray v Nadal.

In other news Kirilenko got stuffed by Zheng and women's tennis is now dead to me :(
