If £120 is for you the definition of the boundary between mug, and not mug, i feel sorry for you and suggest you go back to school to increase your earnings.

Well of course, nearly ever country in europe show tv for free, in fact the human rights law states that you must be able to watch tv or listen to radio for news.

Have you being to a county with no TV licence? They show more adverts than actual shows in most cases! I am always amazed when watching TV in foreign countries, you will soon play the other card 'Wish I could pay a fee to have no adverts' Guarantee it :)

I am kind of tempted to laugh at you for saying that it is a human right to be able to watch TV, but then, i realize how ridiculous some of the human rights are.

Fact is, in this country the transmission of radiowaves is done in very strict manor. Being a fully licensed radio amateur, i understand the knowledge needed to be let loose. Do remember that it isn't just the BBC that gets all the tax money, ITV and C4 get a bit of it iirc.

Also the argument is about how annoying adverts are not about you thinking whether tv license is good or bad. Keep on topic please!

You know they have a massive folder that says "CARE" on it where they dump these complaints.

I put i want a reply lol, luckily it was only for fun and i'm not THAT bothered. If i get a reply, awesome, i'll post it. If not, oh well :p

I hate the BBC, they go on about no adverts then show stuff like eastenders coming soon etc.

Glad I've never paid for a licence.

I don't have a problem with them using self advertising as padding between shows.

I'd rather there was a minute of padding, rather than shows just starting and ending back to back.

Yes they do, it's called product placement. Not to mention the fact that any portable media player is automatically an "iPod" on the BBC!

I'm sorry, but i just watched the whole of Pulp Fiction and there wasn't a single interuption while the film was in motion. Product Placement is only applicable on shows of which you would expect it, shows that have guests for example, and even then it is very small, or done in the way that is enjoyable, take jonny ross for example, he has a gues on that has a movie, watching the trailer is part fo the show and it is good. Watching a film on ITV, i don't want to see pish about how i can make £20 from my gold.
