Hi guys,

I started a new contract through MobilePhonesDirect in late November, and I got my HTC HD2 free with it. Does anyone know if it is legal for me to sell the phone on? It is already unlocked. I was going to use the funds to pay for a Nexus One.

Been looking through the website and haven't seen anything yet.

Thanks

yes its ok to sell. remmeber if you lose ur nexus one in the future remember to tell the network not to block HTC as you sold it but they can block nexus one.

The Nexus One is irrelevant, you won't be reporting that lost to them as it wasn't bought from them?

BlackDragon, I think he means in case you lose your Nexus don't call your network to block the phone you sold :)

when you report they assume u are still on the contract phone and they block it unless you tell them you did not lose that phone.

they can block a phone that is not part of contract as part of network IMEI sharing to stop crime if you request (why wouldnt u?)
