£500 budget cpu/motherboard/ram

I'm not sure about the cooler but i can answer the 2nd question.

Get this ram for decent performance and overclocking.

Value ram are ok if you don't intend on overclocking at all.

Now i just need a cooler recommeded....
 
bakes0310, I use an OCZ vendetta 2 fan on my AMD it is very effective and the fan is not noisy but it is a big cooler so you will need to find out the dimensions and check your case. It also impaires the first ram slot but I still can magange to remove my ram without removing the cooler.

I've got an overclocked and unlocked Phenom x2 550 3.1GHz running at 3.6GHz with idle temps of 28-30c and on load 45-48 max.

Nah thats just some people being stupid, works on all the lastest mobos, might steal the first ram slot on some, so google first. But was amazing for overclocking, keeping temps very low.

Yep one of the best but the fan can get noisy, prom beats all atm
 
I dont mind the cpu fan on the fenrir being noisey as i always have my headphones on when im gaming. Would it fit on the motherboard also inside my akasa 62 eclipse case?

Edit: Just checked the reviews someone had to drill holes in this one, now im getting stuck all i want is a cooler then ill order it all when i get home tonight.
