Anti audio Distortion Digital Camera Spec

Hi all,

I'm after a digital camera which when used in clubs and used in video capture mode won't have distorted sound on playback...

I saw some vids of a night captured on a casio exilim z80 and there was no distortion in the sounds whereas my camera did...

What is this function called ? I want to find other more recent cameras with it also. thanks.
 
Any camera where you can manually adjust the audio gain should do the trick. Some may have built in normalization which would help as well. Whne you say distortion, it is actually the audio being to loud and clipping. So if you can bring the gain down on the microphone (either internal or external) then it should be better.

ok thanks, its just that he made it sound as though his camera was something extra special for being able to compensate for the louder sounds in the club which is why his didn't sound distorted...

Here's the difference between mine and his camera on that night:

so any digital camera out today £60-70ish will be able to do this if i adjust some settings you say?
