stretched tyres

When we bought them, the wheels on Kate's Golf had mildly stretched tyres. When we replaced the tyres she just got the same size again so they are still slightly stretched

As you can see from the pic, it's hardly noticeable in all honesty unless you get up close.

I want someone to tell me how cool really stretched tyres look just after they've seen;

Road, Sky, Road, Sky, Road, Sky Ditch. Whilst driving on an NSL.

I wanted to find an amusing picture to post but i failed :(

Its about fitting tyres that are to narrow for the rim, causing the tyres shoulders to bend inwards.

That sounds dangerous? Does it work with the radius too? So could I fit some 20 quid 15" tyres to my 18" wheels to save money AND be super cool?

That happen often then, because of tyre stretch?

Really?

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a really stretched tyre with its sidewall deviated from the vertical when cornering could have the tyre bead ripped out much easier.

A good example would be semi flat tyres, or very hard cornering on a normal non stretched tyre can sometimes result in the tyre bead coming out.
