Old skool Games, List your favs, (screenshots welcomed)

Star Trek 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites.

Gameplay:

Leonard Nimoy talking about the making of the games:
There's a few of these, just click through the related at the end if you're interested.

I couldn't get into it they took point and click and removed the point and click making it a pain in the **** to play I just couldn't enjoy it.

I think it was more the art direction than the controls. It managed to lose the that gritty pirate feeling that MI3 had.

Should have mentioned it before...

One game kept me hooked for hours, trying to get my status up, trying to get permits to planets, etc.

so many memories forgotten tbh, but there were so many great games that I just enjoyed because I didnt have the internet or someone else telling me that they weren't up to par.... I just played for fun, graphics were always cool, rather than worrying about them not having a certain texture at the right time... games just went in the machine and I didnt worry about what make of RAM im running.

Simpler times, but the irony is id never go back.

Ultima 8
Lemmings!
Baldurs Gate
Warcraft 2
Settlers 2 (I think i've still got both the original, and 10th anniversary versions).
Discworld 1 & 2

Oh my god, the memories! :D I think I was 4 when I first played Repton.

Anyone remember System 15000, Grannys Garden or Dare Devil Denis?

I don't remember System 15000 but I do remember the other two.
Stryker's Run and Codename Droid were excellent games as well.
I had all of the Repton games. Happy days :D

This thread has not only made me think back to my favourite games from the past, but has also made me remember games I had completely forgotten about, for example Strykers Run on the Acorn Electron.

Also it's got me looking at retro consoles again to add to my collection, if I had had the money last night I'd have got myself all sorts of consoles and handhelds...lol

A few more great games I'd forgotten about:

Yie Ar Kung Fu - Acorn Electron

Barbarian - Amiga

Panzer Kick Boxing - Amiga

Microprose F1 Grand Prix - Amiga - many many hours spent on this, until I'd get bored switch damage off and go haring round the track the wrong way destroying the other cars...lol

Vroom & it's follow up F1 (IIRC) - Amiga - both were so so fast, brilliant stuff

Indy Heat & Super Off Road - Amiga - Tiny little cars going round tracks...brilliant

Skidmarks - Amiga - a truely brilliant racing game!

Bills Tomato Game - Amiga - tomatoes and puzzles, what could be better?

I'm sure there are loads more that will come back to me soon.
