Would it be faster to run my RAM at 1600MHz with 8-8-8-20 or 1333MHz with 7-7-7-20? My build is in my signature and I have a Gigabyte 790XTA-UD4.

Thanks.

i believe it is the 1600 @ 8-8-8-20

from memory (excuse the pun!) you divide the single second of time by 1600 (for the mhz) then times by the timing to get the actual time required for the operation. So for the 1600, its 0.005 and the 1333 it is 0.0052. not much in it, but since you asked which is faster, its the 1600

I don't think there would be anything in it. I'm running 1600 cas 8 ram at 1200 cas 6 so that might be worth a try
