Worth an upgrade?

Suppose i could wait for a list of mobo's to come out that people have had success unlocking the 555's 2 dormant cores with unless this motherboard is as likely as any:

If so, itt'l be that, the 555 and the aftermarket cooler you still need to spec me going in my basket! =P (Obviously when i can buy the 555) =P

Also regarding core unlocking it you cannot unlock the Phenom II X4 555BE to a quad core you maybe able to unlock it to triple core.
That's the video i watched... He seems to think differently... I really cant be bothered with this now =P i think i might just go i5 and keep the graphics card until i REALLY need a new one... Or until i care about DX 11 xD

96 unlocks out of 125 processors is quite a high rate for the X2 550BE.

I meant that the video says you can unlock it to 4 cores. =P I'd like to try it with the 555BE as i reckon it shouldn't be too hard. Just need to make sure i get the right motherboard. The first forum post i saw with this motherboard:

It failed for them, but that could have easily been because the cores were faulty anyway... Wish there was a 100% chance mobo! haha xD

The best bargain was the 45NM X2 5000+ which a few people managed to unlock to a quad core:

Alright so let's end this thread lol =P i'm going to go for the 555BE... I'll get the 790X Mobo because there has been success with that motherboard... and then i'll try the unlock, if not, stock speeds will still be a great increase over my current CPU and it's apparently very easy to oc the standard 2 cores, providing even greater performance. Don't you agree?
You've just tempted me with that £40 processor xD
