Pretty much the normal for EA releases though. Undecided whether to leave it downloading (slowly) overnight or just wait until work following day and download quickly...

Gets on my nerves that nomatter where a game is developed the download is always tailored to suit American time zones. You couldn't ask for a worse time than 6pm, thats when people are finished having dinnner and then go upstairs to wax the dolphin over some net porn.

I'm just assuming that pre-orders with Play.com will have access to the client files before 'anyone else'. Actually connecting to a server is different. I dont want to be downloading this while others are actually playing.
The words 'access' and 'early' are thrown in there to whip up some customers.

Yeah it came up with 2.2 for me, more weird though is that it didnt detect my gpu ( a 4870) but still passed me!
vista/windows 7 and a 1.something gb gfx card?
I think it counts the space vista/win 7 copies into ram, used to **** somthings up in vista because it counted towards the 32 bit apps ram limit causing a few things to crash.,
fixed in 7 and vista now though iirc.
