Quick question, any throttling or download capping?

I download a lot, I have downloaded over 50 gigs in the last 3 days (non illegal I would like to point out). So can't risk being throttled.

Is it worth £30 btw? Easy setup? Can I tweak the router or is it set to one setup and thats it?

Assuming nothing illegal it's still very possible.
All you need to do is think.

Imagine for example a newly installed system and have games on steam and did not back up, there's a load.
Buying games online to download/beta's/patches.
I just did 20gig non stop on the trot for a couple of things.

Now think some more for any number of random possibilities why, including illegal activities.

Not me personally, but family members who work from home and have to download client stuff for work (video clips, advert clips, god knows what, but a lot...). As long as I get decent pings online on the 360, im happy.

Easier to just get a decent clean router from the interwebs.

I have the 50MB package. I've had no throttling, with sometimes 200GB passing down the line in the space of a few days.

To do 100gb legitimately I'd just have to install the games on my Steam account. Nothing strange about that.

One month I managed over a TB on Be*, after a hard drive 'incident' meant I lost a load of data. (the hard drive didn't fail, I just didn't have space to back it up when I converted it from HFS+ to NTFS)

130KB/s all the time isnt great either ? Im downloading at 186-220KB/s at the moment and its still going to take 7h for my download to complete

not 130. 1,300kbps, so 1.3 megs download, giving me 13meg broadband.

Be* have no caps or throttling, I always get the full 24Mbit. (I live a few doors away from the exchange, it's where we park our cars! )
