Because of something I wrote in another thread got me thinking.
What smells do you really love and hate? Not obvious ones like manure etc. but smells that tie into your childhood or good/bad moments in your life.
For me I love the smell of Wrights Coal Tar Soap because it reminds me of one of my sets of Grandparents and going on holiday with them to the New Forest in the long hot summer of '76
I can not stand the smell of the draw used to store veg in freezers, when I was younger I worked in a supermarket filling the freezer section and the veg was always the last job and I just came to resent the whole thing and the smell brings back the bad memories of it
