 Here is Corsair H50 max temperature of just 57c, 55c, 55c, 53c after idle at just 22c, 19c, 22c, 18c with 4.0Ghz with 4 cores & 8 threads and the tjmax of 100c. Here is the result of linx stressed:

Your room must be very cold! I idle at about 40C with my setup - but then I keep my room toasty :)

This must've been outside. :D

My PC idles at 29C, and I don't have any heating on, a window open and am in Scotland.

But isn't the low temperatures more to do with the low voltage required for you to hit 4ghz rather than the actual ability of the H50.

This is from just looking at your screenies. I can't really make out your screens too well. What's the voltage under load?

If you had a chip which needed something like 1.3v to hit 4ghz and were running high frequency ram with high vtt I seriously doubt you would get the temps you are getting.

From your post basically you are idling as good as or equal to custom water cooling and under full load you seem to be beating it by quite a far bit.

Something doesn't add up and I am not saying you are not getting those temps as the screens in coretemp do seem to be giving credibilty to your claims.

Ok, the reason, I get lower temperature because I put 2 x Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900RPM Slip Stream 120mm Fans in the back rear, put Corsair H50 in bottom rear with both fans as intake (1 fan with corsair fan) and the top rear is exhaust. The big fan at the top is exhaust from Antec 200mm fan with high speed fan. and 3 x Antec 1200 case fans in the front as intake in high speed fans. I place the bottom fan as intake of Noctua NF-P12 blow to graphic card. So, all 4 fans (2 x rear, 1 x push pull, 1 x bottom fan) and 1 x power pump all connected with Sentry LX Fan Controller with all of it set on high speed. The room temp is 7.2C with Sentry LX sensor the intake room temperature. The windows was open and the computer room is very very cold indeed with door remain shut.

I did this as a one off to see how is compare than before. I was very impressed with Sentry LX kept the pump (off the Corsair H50 running at 100% speed at all times at 1400RPM) and this is why I get temperature of just 22C indle and under stress is just 57C. The temperature outside this morning is -1C.

Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900RPM x 2 is set at high by Sentry LX at 1600RPM.
Corsair fan x 1 is set at high by Sentry LX at 1600RPM.
Noctua NF-P12 is set at high by Sentry LX at 1400RPM.
Corsair pump is set at high by Sentry LX at 1400RPM.
The rest of big fan and three front fans by Antec 1200 fans is set on high speed fans.

I use 1.26v in the bios (vcore) and get 1.18v in windows (under stress) and 1.22v in windows (under idle)

The photo above is a snapshot screen straight away after linx had finished the stressed.

Yes, I love that Sentry LX Fan Controller (5 fans) and all temperature sensor show on the display. I place temperature sensor (5 of it) at the following order:

Sensor 1 - bottom front intake
Sensor 2 - top front intake
Sensor 3 - centre between graphic card and H50 pump
Sensor 4 - rear middle exhaust
Sensor 5 - top middle exhaust

It does showed both top and bottom front intake at 7.1c !!!

Temperature delta, i.e. difference between load and idle temperatures, is a better indication of cooling performance as it offers some resistance to ambient temperature change.

How many "Corsair H50 new low temperature" threads have you made now?

:D I lost my count surely! This is probably my last one now as it will not go below 22C idle next time! (don't even consider myself of putting my case with H50 in the garden shed when outside temperature drop -15C) :)

-15c outside, i dont even know how you could stand being in a room at 7c, when im working ouside theese days at 7-8c i cant wait to get inside for the heat.:D

Well i just finished my upgrade yesterday which includes a h50 on my i7 920.

corsair cms3 6gig and a bloodrage mobo.

My temps idle are 38 to 40 ish and thats with my heating on.
100% load at 4.2ghz takes it upto 75ish with heating on.

Im using speedstep so my cpu speed is 2.4ghz when not gaming.

After coming out of mirrors edge last night after an hour or so my temps were reading around 47ish, which is not bad.

heres some pics.

I can see your picture and why are you disabled HT ? As it show 4 threads ?
