Has anyone mentioned indy j and the last crusade?

That's not a thumb-nail preview, 320x200 res screenies look hilariously small on modern desktop resolutions.

I picked this up in the Steam X-Mas Madness Sale. I tried installing it just now...

So on my 20mb connection that should take 0.3 seconds, yet "The steam servers are too busy to handle your request, please try again in a few minutes"

6mb, I remember buying this on disk (5.25'' !!) originally and thinking: "man so much disk swapping these days" :D

I have a very large retro collection, teh thing is i never get to go on any of it, however the plan is once i have my own house to setup a games room and have all my old consoles on standby ready for a rainy day. I may take a pic and post it up here if i get chance.

Do take a pic, I'd love to see what you have!! There is a retro gaming/consoles thread somewhere, worth a look if you're into that sort of thing!!

Yeah I miss proper old school shoot em ups...

Just for the jollies... my shoot em up collection would consist of:

1942
Galaxians
Nemesis
Salamander
Silk Worm
Star Force
Super Space Invaders (Save the cows!!!)

The first System Shock springs to mind. Probably because I just received a copy, original box and everything in good condition. :D

And, though not as oldskool, I play Fallout 1 & 2 often on my lappy. :)

Joust, I spent hours on that game :p
Killer Instinct
Mr Nuts :D

Aside from the obvious (Mario, Sonic et al) those are the ones I loved as a kid :D

Aye Elite was very good but Frontier just hooked me. I think it was mainly because in Frontier it came with maps, manuals and stories of how life was out there. That sort of gripped me and made me want to experience it.
