the best internal combustion engine for me is deffinately the merlin makes the hairs stand up on the back of neck every time i hear 1

for me though i'd say any motor with a supercharger. not the most powerful way (a turbo makes more peak power but it is more usable) but it wails like a banshee when being revved. :D

its not exactly a pretty sound though is it.

Its too lumpy, too rough, almost drag car like to be considered the best noise ever. Brillaint ? yes. Best ? no.
