Spec me a Stock broker

It would appear by the email I received today my current on-line stockbroker "has decided to withdraw from the provision of local market trading services in the United Kingdom."

They have given me the option to move to TD Waterhouse but before I go scouring the web for a better deal,
I thought I'd ask the good old OCUK.

current provider by the way is E*Trade

Avoid Selftrade... They like to screw you over for ISA charges.

If you're still looking, I use iii for both shares and spreadbetting.

TD Waterhouse.
They were all much of a muchness on overall cost to trade.
If you went for a cheap trade you got stung for a yearly fee
so no real winner that I could see.

Avoid Equiniti. They can't seem to get anything right in my experience!
