Can you also add that some of the stains of blood stopped later bloodshed by giving ideas and laws to places that would have been so much more bloody had we not gone there.
On the flip side there is also the blood still being shed because of our past actions, a good proportion of this is due to the inherant corruption that has always been ingrained into the populous making democracy almost unworkable.
You have to equate that on ballance we probably created as much good as harm by establishing seeds of democracy in a great many places where nothing other than chaos existed before.
There is definitely a difference between immigration and colonisation - immigration is what's happening now, colonisation is what the Brits expertly got up to for the best part of 200 years.

And the saying you sow what you reap seems pretty apt in this day and age ie with the immigrants coming to this country.

Many of the same objections apply to a greater number of natives (with the possible exception of language, although even that is debatable), especially those at the low end of the income bracket.

There s nothing wrong with mosques as there is nothing wrong with churches and arabic specific schools tend to be private.

You'd certainly be allowed to build churches, the idea that you wouldn't is more popular with the fox news crowd.
I'm not aware of any arabic specific state funded schools in the UK.
