i found it strange you could invite your friends into a dirt 2 multiplayer game from pc though.

really could do with something fps wise that is different has the atmosphere that makes u not want to stop playing. the last was cod uo , cod 4 was pretty decent but doesnt have the uo factor . cant quite put my finger on what it was but this is what im hoping battlefield will have. we will soon see :cool:

BC2 isn't realistic either lol, if you want realistic buy arma2 and install ACE2 mod.

Mw2 and BC2 are both arcade games. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I tried realistic FPS in Arma 2 and i thought it was pants, boring as hell total waste of money on steam and that was on special when i got it.

It's awesome, especially since a lot of the pubbies have stopped playing. You need to play it in a clan with vent with proper roles and tactics.

True, I prey BC2 doesn't have last stand or martydom lol. I ain't wasting anymore money on cod games, mw2 was dire lol.

^ I played demo, and was expecting it to be fun, but it just wasnt for me.. they tried to make it too realistic which ended up in the controls being all complicated in a russiany awkward way hah, then you had issues with the bad coding.. it was worse than crysis.

The sound, now that was good.

xbox version is ok, pad sucks so couldnt get into it, so headphones, mouse and keyboard = cant wait, got work to catch up on tonight but sod it lol

Can't recall what i played, i watched lots of videos on youtube and they looked truly amazing that's what sucked me in but when i got the game it just never grabbed me sadly, am more a BF gamer straight in and have a laugh with mates and not too serious.

Maybe need to download this Domination mod and see what its like.

Yeah I know what you mean. I love the insurgency mod. The sound effects add so much to the game. When a grenade explodes, you really do know about it.

That and the red orchestra mod, darkest hour, are my two favorite and most played games. They just have this atmosphere which I've never encountered playing any other fps's. The sound, and visual effects being a major factor in the immersive effect they have on me.

Would be great if bc2 had a similar feel. Well excited now.

red orchestra is a fantastic game , altho im having serious issues getting it working on steam lately, i do feel they lost some of the atmosphere when they went retail though , they had some brilliant maps for the original mod which they then left out of the full game
