Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question?

Now Freeview HD is available in some areas, are there any of the existing PC digital terrestrial cards that would receive the HD channels?

I ask this because the Compro Videomate T220 says : Supports SDTV and 1080i HDTV (where available)

Freeview HD will be transmitted using the DVB-T2 standard. This will mean that in order to get the HD goodness you will need to buy a DVB-T2 tuner card.. unfortunately none have yet been released. Word on the grapevine is that there should be some showing up in retail over the next couple of months.

Spot on.

Currently the Humax HD-FOX-T2 set-top-box has been announced, £170 this February.

Hauppauge have said that "It is our intention to have a single tuner USB DVB-T2 product available prior to the World Cup." (the FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa).

Before you do, do extensive research to see if ITV HD works. Since August 2009, BBC HD has been broken for ATI card users. This has since been fixed this month with Beta drivers.

ITV HD, still does not, the picture stutters like mad and no sound!
