She seems hell bent on me describing what a graphics card does!

Tried describing resolutions, and how that is related to HD, and tried describing shading, and textures. Argh, frustrating!

I am no expert in these matters myself, but, damn "it makes the graphics better" wasn't accepted!
 
Think of a computer as a company with its own art department. When people in the company want a piece of artwork, they send a request to the art department. The art department decides how to create the image and then puts it on paper. The end result is that someone's idea becomes an actual, viewable picture.

I completely misinterpreted the title, LOL.

Why not play a game and show her low ass gfx compared to high ass gfx?
