Is this liverpool central travelodge really that bad?!

I've stayed there a few times and it's alright for getting your head down for the night. Get breakfast somewhere in the city. It's basic but I've always found it to be clean.

you're going on a stag do, not a romantic weekend away with the bird.

You should be spending no more than 30 mins awake in the rooms. Get drunk and don't worry about it.

Yeah but would be nice for a sauna to start the day for another session!!

Just not used to the basic hotel!

Close the windows, whack the heating on, turn shower on full.

Voila! Instant travelodge sauna :D

You could probably pay for a day pass to one of the Hotel gyms in the area if you are *that* desparate for a sauna or something. Radisson gym has a sauna/pool/steam room etc...

lol, wasnt expecting a sauna in a travel lodge no...i was expecting a hotel with a sauna to be booked!

The shower in the pics looks like there is something living between the tiles!

lol dude no Travelodges will have a sauna :p They are literally rooms with a bed and maybe a TV if you're lucky :p Just get wasted and forget about it :p

Get the hotel that is in the albert docks(premier?) - I went on a weekend away there and it was fab - even if I did roll in at 4am :-s

Premier is always the best so pick this if you can.

Also choose the premier breakfast, all you can eat for around a tenner, trust me you'll be spoilt for choice.

It isn't great, it's not the Hilton or anything but for a stag do it'll certainly be comfortable enough, location is great. If you end up changing, go for the hotel in the Albert Dock (not sure what it is...) or maybe try the Jury's Inn or Novotel which are both brand spanking new.
