Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

getting "connection to server lost" on every one :(


Also anyone find the steam overly doesn;t work?

It changes the pointer and stops you clicking in game but nothing comes up
 
There's SLi supporting drivers on the nVidia website by the way. Shame I don't have an SLi enabled mobo to try.
 
Got an apache finally, controls for that felt very laggy as well, really sluggish. Plus you only have 2 camera angles for it, cockpit or behind it :(

I miss my little flyby angles.

Im really not sure about this rush mode, i hope conquest isnt like this where you have to take certain objectives for this or that vehicle to spawn, felt a lot like quake wars in that respect.

gtx295 q6600@ 3.6 latest nvidia drivers to enable sli for bc2, 4xfsaa 16xaf all settings maxed.
 
I loved BF2, my most played game.

This is no BF2, this isn't even a PC game.

Looks rubbish, runs rubbish, UI is rubbish, all servers are laggy and therefore rubbish.

Weapons don't do much damage, a headshot at close to medium range with assualt rifle should be one hit kill. It's not.

Even a full clip into the body, while crouched and aiming down the site won't always yield a kill.

It just feels clunky, floaty and lumpy.

Pre order cancelled.
 
Well, finally got in.... connection lost, or server is full when it isnt. Finally connected to a multiplay server and instantly got kicked. Bad times.
 
Well cant get into a game, server connection lost, check settings. Got into 1 So laggy unplayable, Been kicked out to desktop 3 times with no error/crash message,

Its very verrrrrrryyy beta and does not look like a game that will be released in a month, even the front end/menus lag and 3 clicks telling it i want to login, WTF
 
I like it. The FOV is too small but other than that it's good. Graphics are nice, sounds are good. Far too early to judge it yet though...so everyone complaining can GTFO.

Play on hardcore mode then once the game is out. That way it will be easier to kill/get killed.
