Has it been confirmed that they aren't the full textures then? If so, why does it even have High as an option :confused:
 
i was running high 1920x1080 and it was laggy i think it was due to the servers once things sorted there selfs out i was ok not doing very good though lol, stupied game browser kept crashing
 
Managed to get a game going whilst downloading the 360 version lol. Pretty happy actually. Sniping feels right (BF skills coming back) and players actually help each other out. All I will say though is prone is seriously lacking. I mean it really feels like it needs to be there. I very much doubt it'll be put in though but just saying.

My main concern is the fact you can't seem to create your own squads? Like BC1 on consoles, it seems to automatically put you in a squad. This better be sorted out. It was what put me off BC1 on 360.

Performance is def sluggish. I went max settings and got the sense it's just not optimised yet. All this will come in the next few weeks. It's clearly early days. I mean there are titles like "pc_vehicle" under your stat progression tree. The final version is clearly going to be far more perfected.
 
I have cancelled my pre-order.

Until they fix the lag and the ability to join a server I see know point in having a pre-order at this stage. This isn't a beta it's almost pre-alpha.
 
your gunna lose a bit of quality in the pictures to what the game looks like playing anyways.

it looks better than any of mp of its kind and is way better than mw2 :D and this is only the beta lol

sound is amazing !

So you've actually cancelled your pre-order, because you believe the quality of the multiplayer hosting and server infrastructure of the beta client on its first day is representative of the final product?

Do you want people to take the mick?
 
Server browser has crashed to desktop everytime I've tried opening it. Using the side server bar it says that the server is full, or I have lost connectivity. boo.
 
can everyone log out, and let me, the poor sod whose waited 5 hours with no access to internet at all play, and then it crashes on him 3 times, play. pweeeeeese
