Let the nerd rage over hotfix drivers begin.

Why, why the hell can they not delay a release for about a week and give us a fully working drivers? There's less than 1% that they made this fix within a day or so. Sorry for those who updated their drivers and have those Crossfire issues :(

Probably because they submit a set of drivers for WHQL about a week before they're actually released as MS ain't that fast. If a driver bug thats easily fixable, or helps a big title is sorted in the meantime, they often release a hotfix, non-WHQL.
This hotfix might be 2 days old whilst the official release driver is almost 2 weeks of testing and experimenting old...

and have those Crossfire issues :(

Oh yeah, the lack of AA in a game where neither manufacturer are having a good time with AA really makes it "those crossfire issues"

I'm happy that ATi go to the trouble to release hotfix drivers, even if they are only a day after the last release, at least it shows that they give a damn.

ati drivers recently have been woefull. 10.1 still have the bad tearing when you get flashed in cod. if they brought out a hotfix to sort it for 9.12 the issue should have been sorted for good.

Installed this driver and does it heck give you AA.

im running a single 5870 and AA doesnt work if at all when forced.

the only way i have been able to get AA working perfectly with a single 5870
is to rename the executible mass effect 2.exe to UT3.exe
and change in CCC advanced AI from Standard to Advanced.

doing that and putting 4xaa or 8xaa work perfectly.

ATI`s driver team are a JOKE.

Uhhmm, did you read the hotfix article? I think you should, then you'd realise where the joke is.

Ohh your a smart one arent ya lol
obviously the thread was related to crossfire issue but wouldnt you think ATI would have Single card AA issues sorted before Crossfire Issues ?

either way, ATI are still a joke.

Its the same with Nvidia, they have no AA atm either. At least they are on it.
