Trying to decide between the above 3. Look to be a close run thing. Got a friend coming over from the States so hopefully not as expensive as the UK retail price.

Had a few HTC running WinMo and ready for a change. Also a little tempted to see what the next Iphone is like in June / July time.

Anyone got any thoughts. HD2 does look nice in the flesh but possibly too big?

The Nexus One is made by HTC as well, merely branded a Google phone if that's any help to you ;)

I'd go for the Nexus personally, got a Hero at the moment and I imagine the Nexus will be similar on quicker hardware. Android + HTC = win!

I sold my HD2 a few days ago (since having in late November) and received my Nexus One today. It's so incredibly smooth and well polished (software wise) compared to the HD2, and I would never go back to it. Plus there are lots of free, good, and useful apps available on the Android Market whereas the Windows Marketplace was quite lacking.

In my opinion, go for the Nexus One :)

-edit: my bad, meant days :)

I got a HD2 yesterday, went straight on the bay to fund a Nexus :) If it had Android on then it would be top notch, but the bloated Windows OS/UI just makes it nasty to use for me.

A few years ago.... my god... Can I borrow your time machine? lol

Just imagine how much he sold it for!

So you didn't even try it yet know it is bloated and has a rubbish UI...?

Well dunno about the Nexus but having tried out a HD2 for a couple of days I've sent it back.

Nothing to do with the software or speed (I'm one of the few that actually like Winmo). It was just too bloody big and I found typing with one hand impossible.

Not a clue what I'll be getting now

I own a nexus one and use to have an iphone.

I got the iphone the first week it was launched and it was soo cool being the only person with one. Evreytime i took it out people asled about it. fast foward two years and every dole dodger has one.

If its anything to you after having my nexus 2 weeks i could not go back to my iphone. The screen on the nexus is superb and multi tasking makes things so much easier. It has a cheaper price aswel i see it as a no brainier.

Plus with the nexus it will very exclusive around the UK at least until spring

Because both the Bravo and Supersonic are better Android handsets.

It also lacks HTC Sense.

But are the Bravo and Supersonic out NOW? No, they're not.

There is ALWAYS something better around the corner, but until they're out and available they're not a valid comparison.

As for the HTC Sense - the android 2.1 interface is great and very nice to use - the Sense interface, while nice is not essential to the android experience (IMO)

It is down to the person, but I'd rather hold out for 720p video recording, hardware buttons, multi-touch and the smaller size of the Bravo.

As for the Supersonic, well it's and HD2 with Android, and a 4.3" screen is lush.

For the record, I don't think the Nexus is actually crap, just that if I were going to get myself in to a lengthy contract, I'd rather have the most advanced I can around the same time.

I was looking at getting the Nexus to replace my hero, but the lack of sense UI is making me hold out for the Bravo. The Nexus does look like an awesome phone, but just like krooton, I'd rather wait a bit (Still love using my hero), and get Bravo.

I normally like to try before I buy. Saying that I've currently got a G1 which I got solely based on reviews and have never regretted it. This is the 1st phone I've had which does everything I want. :)

As tempting as the it is to buy the Nexus One while the G1 continues to perform I'm happy to wait and see what other phones are released later this year.

N1 has/will have MT.

Multi Tasking?

I'm still on an iPhone 3G, and as much as I love it, I'm starting to get sick of Apples bull**** dictatorship on things flash support, multitasking and other crap. I generally just fancy a change. I'm leaning towards the HD2 the most. I know very little about Android but the HD2 just looks a feels better to me (I've used my mates for about an hour) but as I say, I've never properly used android.
