I'm waiting on this monitor come to UK retailers, just wondering if OCUK may be stocking this any time soon since I'm looking to buy it during this week or next.

Well I've been looking at getting a 26+" monitor for a while now that was decent quality but wouldnt break the bank.
Think I've just found it!
*Will wait... impatiently* ;)

It is a very nice monitor. I have pre ordered it from a different retailer since theysaid I should be in stock on the 1st feb. So if it doesn't and it's just those annoying way of keeping customers then I'll wait til ocuk have it.

You want the Acer 27" i've started a thread about. It's MUCH better looking (to my taste as I want a screen to look like a monitor and not a cheap TV) and it has a higher resolution. 1920x1080 on 27" is not good.

Huh? Is that the 2048 x 1152 one? I'm also in market for a 26+" one...

Tbh I actually want a monitor that looks like a tv. I want something other than the looks of a full blown monitor. I've been stick with a MVA for years now and bored of the square boring monitor look.

And the p2770h in no way looks like a cheap tv.

I know the res isn't decent but will 120pixels make that much of a huge difference?

Got to say I'm with Sandeep on this one, I love the looks of the Samsung monitor. Will look a lot sleeker on my desk! :)

I had looked into the Acer, but again like Sandeep, I'm left wondering if a few extra pixels are going to make a huge difference.

I use my computer for gaming and movie play back. For gaming I've been more than fine with the 22" 1680x1050 screen I already have, actually a Belina I got from OcUK a long whiles ago and it's more than served me well!

Only reason I'm looking for the upgrade is to get the most out of Bluray (since I bought the OcUK slot drive Bluray player and a few movies to go with it) and as such need a 1920x1080 (at least) anything above that is just gravy! :)

Exactly :). I got a lot of hd movies and tv shows on my pc and I'm stuck with a 19" 1280x1024 Sony monitor. So going up to a 27" samsung 1920x1080 would be amazing for me haha
