Hm. Its so annoying because the game runs so well, it just decides it wants to close itself every now and then :(
 
cracking game and although my PC is aging it is at least playable :) i'm using 1900*1200 all low detail and it seems locked at 30fps, going to try and force dx9 as it feels laggy..

I managed to unlock the shotty my all time fave weapon of choice but it seems totally pants grrr, I demand 1-shot kills !!!

ingame name is tega if the friends tab is working ..
 
So far my fave class is assault followed by recon, then Engineer, I just unlocked the 2nd assault rifle and it's suhweeeeeet.

Either I go with that or with a shotgun so I can have C4 on my assault kit, with resupplies too. Jihad buggy ***!

all these problems and more and being posted inThe Mantis report,via combat testing,they are being worked on as we speak by the devs.

edit:just cchecked the mantis report and there are over 360 problems and counting.

oh crap just remembered by reading previous few posts that the Nvidia driver I downloaded needs to be installed , although I ran it everything high all settings etc it ran great. well worth the wait and hasel to get the beta alone :-)

conquest mode will be better than rush when the full game is released(taking the flags as in bf2)

I hated conquest in bf1 with the tiny amount of player it just didnt feel right, while i know the pc has 32 players i think you still need more for conquest.

Even in bf1943 right now the game can feel kinda empty, i prefer rush as it forces combat.

Bf2 was conquest mode only, i used to see people on 16 player maps taking advantage of a 64 player map layout raking up the points,fighting for flags forces combat in traditional bf style,remember bc1 was on console,bf2 was a pc epic,all bf games on pc are traditionally conquest and the most popular play mode,there will be more people playing bc2 that played bf2,most of them wont have played bc1

thes guys have been tweaking Nvidia/ATI driver for years and i find them better than the vanilla releases.
