Anyone watching this, picture quality looks like a dodgy pirate VHS video copy!! Cant believe they can broadcast stuff that bad these days :(

even the missus said somethings wrong with the TV!!

It's on Blu-Ray if you really must.

However last time I watched the film, it seems so cheesy and winceworthy in retrospect.

IMHO Flight of the Intruder was a much better movie about naval aviation albeit set a few years earlier. (I believe that's coming out on Blu-ray later this year).

Just turned the TV on to see what you meant and I agree, it's terrible. Looks like ITV got their original roll out of storage...

ooooooo take my breath awayyyyyyy.

God this film is so cheesy. Oh and yeah it looks horrendous!

Is it just me that has noticed ITV's broadcasting quality has generally gotten really really bad recently. Their football on last weekend was almost unwatchable it was that bad!

Ever since they ****ed up the Everton - Liverpool game they have been slowly getting worse I think, cutting from ads back to programs and voice overs being cut off to general program quality.

This film is massively overrated.

This!

LOL. this is awful!

Looks like the quality of the World's First Western Filmed in colour. hahaha

Anyone seen me yet?

Viper, YEY

Watched this with the wife on new years eve on bluray, 5.1 sound with the sound of jets blasting around the room was awesome :D

You know I always cause a lot of controversy when I say this, but I've seen 100's and 100's of films, and I always turn this one off, regardless of the amount of people tell me its great, because I can't help cringing constantly, because of the script the music and the massively overexposed filming. Its terrible.
