DPD Delivery + Hangover :(

Well got it all hooked up PSU seems to be able to handle it fine. Not sure if i've installed everything properly, just had a run on crysis and tbh I wasn't that impressed. It is faster but not as fast as what I thought it would be. When outdoor it getting pretty much 30fps and goes up and down. When indoors it's getting about 50fps. It is a lot smoother and the image quality is a lot better but I expected more FPS. I don't know if i've done this right or where to check in CCC that both cards are running correctly. I also put on two crossfire cables from each 5870 as there was two bits for it, is that right or should i only use one ? Any help would be appreciated, thanks......

sounds liek crossfire isnt running properly, im getting higher than 30 outdoors on ultra high with 4xAA @ 1680x1050. honestly id recommend some quality sleep mate before you bork something while still drunk, iv done the same before ;)

rest assured 2 5870 will be much much faster than my 5770's lol ;)

what cpu are you running, speed and ram etc??

Been playing about with it and having major problems with updating drivers and getting crossfire enabled. I seem to have it working now and Dirt 2 is getting fps like 70 - 80. Crysis really doesn't seem to have much of an improvment tho. Not V impressed so far but it's probably not set up properly. I'm going to bed and will re-install Windows 7 when I get up and do a fresh install of everything and see what happens. THanks Guys.

try and improve it more by searching for and installing something called the CCC mod which alters crysis's files and makes it run faster and look better. Also installing the TOD (time of day) mod makes things look very sweet indeed. It's all personal choice tho and i would reccommend finding a CCC mod that also allows a full un-install of the TOD mod.

just google crysis ccc mod
top result should be the one your after

[RANT]DPD can kiss my .... ..., they are beyond useless (All my opinions of course).

Ask them to do or even NOT to do something and they go out of their way to do the total opposite...[/RANT]
