Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

iv got a problem it wont update. my version is 511270 it tells me to patch to version 512914 but it always fails saying file not found i can play the game but its extremely jerky and very twitchy steady aiming is near impossible

I had this problem. Installing the game on the default C drive instead of another disc partition cured it for me.

try a reinstall and run the game updater from the game directory.

right click the updater from the game directory, and run as administrator, <<< this works.

I was having the problem where it would say could not download patch or something similar. I just went into the game directory and ran the updater as admin and it updated fine.

although that patch seems to have fixed the noobtube and a squad all using that can simply defeat all in their path. The game is brilliant, some matches are shiz some fantastic but overall it does have that 'one more go!!' effect which proves it's fun.

Not as annoying as some asshat sat in a Tank half a mile away shelling everything and taking seemingly 0 damage from RPGs. Besides, i think the alt. gun is meant for infantry more than the main gun. Good time in the final MCOM station, drove up in my tank as allies placed it, massive cluster**** around it, me shelling it just as 3 of them turned up... so i switched to the turret while i was reloading and killed all 3 of them

Just updated my drivers to latest (catalyst 10.1) and now game keeps crashing. Any ideas? Un-install then re-install maybe?

I don't seem to get any points anymore, bloody annoying when I actually started to get a decent number of kills and assists with a great squad. Shows me as 2nd in every match I play but zero scores for all players
